Home Genie exists thanks to the friendship between a Spanish lawyer and a London copywriter who bought a home in the sun in Alicante. 

Cate struggled to find a reliable cleaner or anyone to repair her air conditioning - until Reme stepped in with her local recommendations and language skills. As a marketing expert, Cate surveyed her fellow foreign homeowners to discover hers was a common problem. After endless conversations over glasses of wine, Reme decided to found HomeGenie; to act as a bridge between the many foreigners owning a residence on the coast of Spain and trusted tradespeople in their area.
